The electric current used in Russia provides 220 Volts; its frequency is 50 Hz and the plugs have two male contact points. Plan to bring a transformer for your electrical or electronic equipment if it uses a different voltage and, if necessary, also bring a plug adapter.
Public transport in Tomsk From the airport:
There is a variety of private taxi services available outside the arrival terminal at Bogashovo Airport. The trip costs around US$ 7-10. It takes up to 30 minutes to the City Center.

Foreign currencies are not accepted in shops, so it is best for you to change your foreign currency to the local currency. The Ruble (RUB) is the official currency of Russia. The current foreign exchange rate is approximately 1 USD = RUB 56.8, 1 EUR = 70.1. These rates are subject to market fluctuations so please check them again prior to your departure date. If you come to Russia with some foreign cash, you can exchange it for RUB upon arrival at the international airport, banks (opens Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00) or currency exchange establishments. The disadvantage of going to a bank to exchange money is that you need to show a passport for identification and you need to fill out a form first. Most ATMs accept most international debit cards, and this is the best way to get cash in Russia. Credit cards (Visa) are accepted by hotels and some shops, however, cash is also necessary.
